Organic green Shan tea, 80 g loose-leaf

Travel to Laos with our green tea; a sweet, fresh tea with floral notes. It is a rare tea of exceptional quality, from the Shan tea plant, from the Paksong gardens on the Boloven plateau, between 800 and 1200 m altitude, in the south-west of Laos.

This green unfermented tea is prepared at a lower temperature than black tea: 70-80°C. Leave your kettle on for 4 minutes before pouring the water on the tea leaves. Never use boiling water because then the tea will become bitter and the delicate aroma will be lost! Allow the tea to infuse for 2 to 4 minutes to allow the tea leaves to unfold and release their full flavour. 2 grams per cup is enough, less is more!
