Let's get started

  1. In a blender, grind the nuts into flour, pour into a bowl and set aside.

  2. Remove the pit from the dates. Blend the dates together with the raisins very finely in a blender.

  3. Combine the nut flour, date-raisin mix and peanut butter in a mixing bowl. Knead by hand until blended.

  4. Add the granola and mix by hand under the dough.

  5. Take a shallow baking tray and shape into a rectangle. The dough is sufficiently rolled open when the slice is an inch thick. You can cut energy bars right now, but you can also freeze the dough for 30 min for a slightly firmer texture.

Tips

  1. Use this dough for energy balls. Replace the last two steps by rolling balls.

  2. Freeze! Cut the dough into portions and freeze them.
