Saint Nicholas is also rooting for a fair income

Will Saint Nicholas bring fair chocolate for you and your colleagues this year? Oxfam Fair Trade has a whole array of top quality, delicious Saint Nicholas-themed chocolate, made according to Belgian artisans’ traditions and containing honest ingredients from the global South.

Faire Sinterklaas 2019

Saint Nicholas takes part in our Bite to Fight for a fair income-campaign again. What does this mean? Oxfam Fair Trade pays an extra premium for the cocoa beans in this particular chocolate.

This ensures that de cocoa farmers and their families can enjoy a fair income. A fair income allows the carefree coverage of costs for food, housing, essential services (education, care, clothing …) and it also provides a little extra, for a rainy day.
